Nature Walks
Looking for a wonderful way to spend an Autumn day with the family? You’ll love our fun activities and regular events. The orchard at Montgomery Orchard, is a large part of the experience, but a small part of the actual tree farm, only taking up less than a tenth of the acreage. In this expanded area, you are welcome to tour our mowed paths where you may observe the various prairie grasses, wild flowers, trees, and wildlife including many of Minnesota's magnificent birds, mammals, and amphibians.
Hay Rides-PUT ON HOLD

Join us for a hay ride through our designated wildlife area, which is pulled by an antique tractor. Rides will be held at 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM on every Saturday and Sunday, as long as there are at least eight riders.
Adults ages- 12 years and up: $ (plus tax)

Apple Picking
After stopping by the main office and store, go to the orchard after one of our guided tours or walk directly there on a shorter path. We hope you enjoy the experience of picking your own apples from several of our thousands of trees and twelve different varieties. All these different varieties of apples ripen at different times throughout the fall, so be prepared to come back to try more and find a favorite.
Jellies, Jams and More
Think apples are only for eating as they come off the tree? Try again! We offer an assortment of apple jellies, jams, salsas, and a customer favorite, caramel apples dipped in delicious Abdallah's genuine caramel. We also have different baking mixes for pies, apple crisps and other baked treats for cooking later on.
Entertainment and Activities
Not in the mood to pick your own apples? No problem. Come join us on our porch, kick back, and enjoy some of the local acoustic artists on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the fall, while you soak up the sun with a caramel apple or with some fresh apple cider. Make sure to grab a bag of apples from the store for the family at home.
